Obituary of Carroll L. Meuse

Carroll L. Meuse passed away on August 26, 2015. Carroll was born in S. Portland, Maine to John and Edna Meuse. He graduated from Scarborough High School in 1954 before joining the U.S. Army. During his 28 years in the Military he lived in many different places; Germany, N. Carolina, Korea, Lebanon, Arizona, Vietnam and finally California. He loved walking the dog. He also enjoyed ocean scenery, fishing, going to the casino, bowling, and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed. Carroll is survived by his wife of 56 years, Berta R. Meuse (Kräck); his children, Renate Messick (Harold), Heidi Meuse, Carole Reyes (Jose), and William Meuse (Jeni), as well as, his grandchildren, Melissa Messick, Joseph Reyes, Raymond Reyes (Rechlene), Will Meuse (Jillian), Michaela Meuse, and Cameron Meuse, and his great grandchildren, Jennifer and Charlie Messick, Kaisiah, Carlene and Caila Reyes, Roman, Madison, and Jackson Meuse. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Meuse and Edna Meuse (Huff) and all of his siblings, Muriel, Richard, Walter, Ernest, Harold, Joseph, and Raymond. A visitation will be on Sat., Sept. 5th from 11am - 1pm at which time the Funeral Service with Military Honors will begin. Services will be at Mission Memorial Park and Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Ave. in Seaside.
