Obituary of Pok Soon Keyton

Pok Soon Keyton, age 75 of Marina, passed away on Thursday October 27, 2022. She is proceeded in death by her husband Charles Wesley Keyton Sr.

Pok Soon was a resident of Marina, CA for forty one years, prior to coming to the United States she resided in Busan and Daegu Korea where she met and married her husband Charles W. Keyton Sr.  

Despite many obstacles and hardships in her life, Pok Soon Keyton lived her life to the fullest.  Her family was her passion and happiness.  Her wish to go back to her homeland to visit her grandmothers’ resting place, was fulfilled in 2017. Our beloved mother will be greatly missed.

Pok Soon is survived by her children Kimmie Garrido, Cynthia Sexton, Randy Keyton, Charles Keyton.  Eight grandchildren Alexandra and Joseph Garrido Jr, Justin Garrido, Brooke and Pierce Sexton, Angela Harden, Laura and David Keyton. Three great-grandchildren Alyssa Rabender, Jenna Venable and Remi Harden. Sisters Sooki Thissell, Angela Bradley and Key Saua. Daughter-in-law Ok Chun Keyton and Son in laws Nicholas Sexton, Ernest Lozano.

Pok Soon found friendship and comfort at church later in life.  She was a member of the Korean First Presbyterian Church in Marina California.  The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. For those who have known Pok Soon Keyton in her life journey with us, her Memorial Service will be held at Mission Mortuary Memorial Park on Thursday November 10, 2022 at nine thirty, she will be laid to rest at Cemetery El Encinal. May you rest in peace in grace and love. Flowers may be sent to Mission Mortuary Memorial Park in Monterey, CA.
